Hoiliday Presents Are All Gone; Now It’s The Trees’ Turn

Out with the old.

Out with the old.

SANATOGA PA – Take down the tinsel. Pack up the lights. Carefully set aside the angel topper for another year.

All those chores signal Christmas is over. There’s one more, too: putting the no-longer-needed tree out to be recycled.

Curbside collection of Christmas trees in Lower Pottsgrove Township begins next Monday (Jan. 7, 2013), its website announced, and continues every Monday through January. The last opportunity for pick-up is Jan. 28. Trees should be placed at the curb along with trash and other items to be recycled, although each will be collected by separate crews.
