Police Charge Douglassville Woman With Retail TheftSANATOGA PA – A Douglassville woman was arrested Wednesday (Jan. 2, 2013) by Lower Pottsgrove Township Police on a summary count of retail theft, according to the department’s report.

Sgt. Timothy Walters said Tracy Ann Olson, 24, was taken into custody, issued a citation and later released following an incident Wednesday at 6:08 p.m. in the Redner’s Warehouse Food Market, 1300 N. Charlotte St. Members of the store’s loss prevention team detained Olson after they alleged they saw her conceal two items – a note pad and a day planner with a total value of $2.11 – and leave the store without attempting to pay for them.

Both items were recovered from Olson’s jacket, Walters said. In the course of his investigation, the sergeant added, he learned this was a first offense for Olson. She was banned by Redner’s from entering its stores.
