MAKING THEIR PUBLIC DEBUT – Third-grade violin students (above) from the Pottsgrove School District’s Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School made their public performance debut Tuesday night (Jan. 8, 2013), playing four short tunes for members of the Board of School Directors during their meeting in Stowe PA. The dedicated pupils alternately kept their eyes on music teacher William Einhorn (below, at left), their instruments, and their sheet music while demonstrating their progress.

Music teacher Kathy Williams (below) told the school board and audience members that last year’s redistricting and Pottsgrove’s move to educational centers alowed teachers to work more easily and directly with students, and cited the music program and Tuesday’s recital as prime examples.
