THEIR HONOR? TO PLAY FOR YOU! – Dozens of the best student musicians from middle and junior high schools across Montgomery, Chester and Berks counties assembled Saturday night (Jan. 26, 2013) at the Boyertown Junior High West auditorium to perform with the annual Inter-County Concert Band, conducted by Pottsgrove School District music teacher Kathy Williams. Music directors at each school during October recommended selected students to join the band, considered an honor and acknowledgment of their abilities. Williams led three rehearsal sessions earlier this month, and then the band took to the stage. “Great job!,” Pottsgrove Middle School Principal Bill Ziegler proclaimed Sunday evening (Jan. 27) on Twitter, as he released two photos of the instrumentalists in action.
