After 2-Year Hiatus, Sanatoga Returns To Her Inn

COOKIE’S BACK – Shirley “Cookie” Shearer (above), who spent much of her early life as a Sanatoga resident on the village’s south side, and who later established the Shearer Elegance Bed and Breakfast at 1154 Main St. in Linfield PA, on Friday (Feb. 1, 2013) officially resumed her duties as innkeeper there. Shearer two years ago handed management of the bed and breakfast over to hostess Sue Tator, and has now returned to full-time oversight of the popular wedding, party, and overnight guest venue. The interior of the three-floor former Brownback Mansion (below) is decorated in vintage Victorian style and features four guest rooms and three guest suites.
