POTTSTOWN PA – Parents of children being educated in the Pottsgrove School District have until March 15 (2013; Friday) to nominate someone who they believe is a “special” teacher worthy of recognition in his year’s Voices of Inspiration Awards, presented by the Freedom Valley Credit Union and Montgomery County Intermediate Unit.

Several Pottsgrove teachers have been honored by the program in the past, and district administrators hope 2013 will again be charmed. They’ve distributed several messages, most recently on Saturday (Feb. 23, 2013) via Facebook, encouraging parents to nominate favorite educators.

The awards, launched during 2007, are intended to acknowledge “exceptional educators and their commitment to students, families, and the community as a whole.” Those nominated can be chosen for either contributions or performance during a single school year or for cumulative efforts over many years.
