Expected Boone Budget Cuts Haven’t Happened (Yet)

AMITY PA – Parents in the Daniel Boone Area School District who expected to learn the fate of kindergarten and other extracurricular activities in $5 million of proposed 2013-2014 budget cuts left Monday night’s (Feb. 25, 2013) school board meeting in anger and confusion, Philadelphia television station WTXF reported.

During the meeting, board members said they did not understand what they were supposed to be voting on. Ultimately, they decided to table the cuts all together. Allentown TV station WFMZ noted the board meeting at the middle school gym was packed, accompanied by a long line of people waiting to get inside.
