Pottstown Student Chefs Chop Down Their Competitors

POTTSTOWN PA – A popular downtown High Street restaurant, Grumpy’s Sandwich Shop, has brought the Food Network television show “Chopped” to life in the culinary arts class at Pottstown High School, and two winners of the first “Chopped Challenge” have been announced by The (Pottstown PA) Mercury.

Grumpy’s gave student chefs four ingredients to use in their own sandwich creations, with the caveat that the end product must be easily recreated in the restaurant. It will be featured on its menu.
