ROYERSFORD PA – Finding somewhere to park in downtown Royersford can be a problem, Borough Manager Michael Leonard concedes. He’s had past difficulty hunting for places to leave his car before coming to work at Borough Hall, so he empathized with concerns voiced Tuesday (Feb. 26, 2013) by Main Street Cafe owner Anthony Berdomas. A lack of parking spaces, Berdomas claimed, is driving potential customers to his competitors’ doors, The Limerick Patch reported.
If diners can’t find a convenient space near his entrance, Berdomas said, they’ve told him they eat where parking is more plentiful. He asked Borough Council to consider limiting the number of hours cars can be parked at curbside on Main. Royersford’s Public Safety Committee may look at the problem and bring ideas back to council, The Patch said.
