
Blood drives ahead
POTTSTOWN PA – If you can spare a pint, as the promotional saying goes, the students at Pottsgrove High School want your blood.
The school student government’s annual blood drive will be held Friday (March 8, 2013) from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the auxiliary gym, 1345 Kauffman Rd. All qualified donors are welcome to attend. Students who hope to donate must indicate they have parental permission and also show a pass with a designated donation time.
Other upcoming area blood drives, conducted by the Miller-Keystone Blood Center, include:
- March 17 (Sunday) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Hope Church United Methodist Church, 117 N. Monocacy Creek Rd., Douglassville;
- March 18 (Monday) from 7-10 a.m., CEI Douglassville Inc., 447 Old Swede Rd., Douglassville;
- March 23 (Saturday), from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monarch Fire Company, 50 Pennsylvania Ave., Monocacy; and
- March 27 (Wednesday) from 3-7 p.m., the annual Douglassville Community Drive at 1845 Weavertown Rd.
