Pottsgrove Connection Covers Kids' Online Safety

POTTSTOWN PA – Two special agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Cerena Coughlin and Thomas Neeson, will be the guest speakers next Thursday (March 21, 2013) from 7-8:30 p.m. as the Pottsgrove School District presents the program “Keep Your Kids Safe Online” as part of its Community Connection meeting series.

The event, to be held in the auditorium at Pottsgrove Middle School, 1351 N. Hanover St., is free and open to the public.

The agents will offer what the district calls “informative and practical” advice on how parents can protect children when they are online. Topics to be covered include online safety, cyber-bullying, and the use of social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

For more information, call the district at 610-327-2277.
