CLEANING UP THE DAMAGE – Lower Pottsgrove Historical Society volunteers, above from left, Lew Babel, and Barbara and Dave Updegrove, were busy Sunday afternoon (April 21, 2013) removing debris from an automobile accident that occurred two weeks ago outside Sanatoga Chapel on East High Street, the society’s museum and headquarters. The one-vehicle accident destroyed the society’s sign, as well as its nearby veterans’ memorial, below. Babel and Updegrove erected a temporary replacement in advance of the society’s coming flea market and Strawberry Festival fund-raisers.
