LIMERICK PA – Traffic on Linfield Road will be reduced this week to one lane between Longview Road in Limerick Township and Wells Road in East Coventry Township due to repairs to the bridge over the Schuylkill River there.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said its crews will make structural repairs daily from Monday (July 15, 2013) through Friday (July 19) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for bridge repairs.
Deteriorated steel truss members will be fixed so the bridge can remain open to traffic. The bridge was built in 1932 and carries 5,651 vehicles a day.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
