KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Day-time lane restrictions are anticipated for eastbound U.S. Route 422 traffic during Thursday (Sept. 12, 2013) between the highway’s Route 23 and Route 363 interchanges, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s District 6 office in King of Prussia announced.
PennDOT crews plan to conduct bridge inspections in the area from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Portions of the right lane of the eastbound side will be closed between the two points. 422 motorists are advised to allow more time for travel during the bridge inspections because slowdowns will occur, the agency said.
The inspections are part of PennDOT’s program to inspect all state bridges at least once every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and condition of the bridges.
