SANATOGA PA – Persistent lane restrictions and intermittent traffic stoppages are scheduled next month for road and bridge improvements on U.S. Route 422 between the Sanatoga and Stowe interchanges, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Region 6 office in King of Prussia announced Friday (Sept. 27, 2013).
- One lane will be closed on eastbound 422 between the Route 724 and Sanatoga interchanges in Lower Pottsgrove and North Coventry townships, beginning Monday (Sept. 30) and continuing daily through Nov. 1 (Friday) from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- One lane will be closed on westbound 422, between Sanatoga and Route 724 and for the same Monday through Nov. 1 period, but from 7 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area. Schedules on the work, which is part of PennDOT’s $73.3 million project to rebuild and improve 1.6 miles of 422, are weather-dependent. The project is anticipated to be finished in October 2018.
