POTTSTOWN PA – Steven Sieller, a Douglassville PA resident who currently serves as assistant principal of Millmont Elementary School in the Reading School District, will be presented tonight (Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013) as the candidate chosen to succeed the retiring Maryann Johnson as assistant principal in Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School on Buchert Road.

His appointment must be approved by the Pottsgrove School District Board of School Directors. The personnel action was a late addition to its agenda for the 7:30 p.m. meeting at the Pottsgrove High School cafeteria, Kauffman Road, district Director of Technology and Communications Michael Wagman confirmed.
The board’s regular meeting will be preceded by its reorganization meeting, at which three new and one incumbent board members will be sworn into office, and a new president will be selected.
Millmont is one of the Reading district’s 13 elementary schools. It serves about 650 students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Sieller has been an assistant principal for Reading since August 2011, according to the district website.
Sieller holds a master’s degree in school leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s in elementary education and teaching from Albright College, according to his Linked-In profile. While attending Albright, according to the college, he was vice president of his class and a captain of the men’s swim team.
