422 Bridge Work At Trooper Road Closes Right Lanes

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Drivers traveling either side of U.S. Route 422 between Routes 23 and 363 (Trooper Road) will find its right lanes closed through Wednesday (Dec. 18, 2013) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., as contractors for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation make structural steel repairs on a bridge, according to PennDOT Community Relations Coordinator Charles Metzger.

422 Bridge Work At Trooper Road Closes Right LanesThe four-lane span carries vehicles and Norfolk Southern railroad tracks across the Schuylkill River. The bridge work is part of PennDOT’s $2.2 million repair project in the Philadelphia region. Motorists are advised to allow additional time for travel because slowdowns will occur, Metzger said.

Loftus Construction Inc. of Cinnaminson NJ is the general contractor. The work is being paid for entirely by state funds. on the project that is financed with 100 percent state funds.
