Vandals Smash Vehicle Windows At Township East End

SANATOGA PA – It’s been anything but a smashing holiday so far for some vehicle owners in the Woodgate single-family housing community on Lower Pottsgrove’s east side, township Police Chief Michael Foltz reported Tuesday (Dec. 17, 2013).

Vandals Smash Vehicle Windows At Township East EndFoltz said his officers are investigating a series of criminal mischief complaints in which unknown vandals smashed the windows of several vehicles parked in the 1400 block of Oakdale Drive, near its intersection with Karen Drive. The incidents occurred sometime between Thursday (Dec. 12) at 5 p.m. and Friday (Dec. 13) at 7:30 a.m., the chief said.

The actors broke the front windshield and side window of a 1993 green Buick sedan, and a side window on a 1987 Dodge Ram pick-up truck. The truck’s side view mirror also was broken, and it seemed to have been the shooting target of pink-colored paint balls, according to a department report.

Police are seeking public help in the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the department at 610-326-1508.
