POTTSTOWN PA – Girls between the ages of 5 and 11 who have never played soccer but who would like to try, as well as those developing their skills in the game, are invited to attend winter soccer clinics being operated by Pottsgrove School Board director Dee Gallion beginning Friday (Jan. 10, 2014) from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the gym of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 93 Maugers Mill Rd.
Weekly practice sessions will focus on fun and skills, Gallion said, and are open to beginning and progressing players. Participants are urged to wear comfortable clothes, sneakers, and shin guards, and are asked to bring a soccer ball. Those between the ages of 5 and 7 are asked to wear something pink; and those 8-11, something purple.
Parental sign-in and sign-out registration will be held at the door. Parents interested in having their children attend the soccer practice should contact Gallion in advance by e-mail, here, listing their players names and ages.
