Narcotics, Weapons Arrest Made At Shopping CenterSANATOGA PA – A 29-year-old former Boyertown PA resident was arrested during the past weekend on narcotics and weapons charges after Lower Pottsgrove police responded to reports of illegal drug use in the parking lot of the North End Shopping Center on North Charlotte Street, they said in a press release issued Monday (Feb. 3, 2014).

Arrested Saturday (Feb. 1) at 9:03 p.m. was Daniel Wybranski, whose current address was not specified, on three counts of possessing drug paraphernalia, 1 count of drug possession, and 1 count of possessing a prohibited weapon. Ofc. Royce Repka said Wybranski also was determined to be wanted by authorities in Berks County PA and in Florida.

Repka reported Wybranski was discovered sitting in a parked car in a lot in front of the Redner’s Warehouse Market at the shopping center. He was “incoherent and showed signs of recent drug use,” the police statement claimed. It also alleged that, as the result of a  subsequent investigation, Wybranski was found to possess about 4 grams of crystal methamphetamine, two used needles, a small digital scale, and a Chinese throwing star.

He was transferred to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Eagleville PA. A preliminary court date was not mentioned in the report.

The department said it appreciated the call it received about the incident, and warned that individuals who may be under the influence of narcotics should be confronted only by police or trained specialists.
