SANATOGA PA – Two projects under development by Sanatoga-based Hallman Retirement Neighborhoods – the construction of residences at 1338 Lynn Dr. and Phase 2 of the Buchert Ridge Community at 2011 Buchert Rd. – are tentatively scheduled to be discussed tonight (Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014) by the Lower Pottsgrove Board of Commissioners.
Engineer John McMenamin discussed the Lynn Drive project with Lower Pottsgrove planners last November
- A snow-and-ice storm caused the board to reschedule its Feb. 3 meeting to tonight at the municipal building, 2199 Buchert Rd. It starts at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. The Hallman projects were part of the Feb. 3 agenda, which was available here on the township’s website as of 6 a.m.
The Lynn Drive project is located between Wendy and and Cindy drives. As described last November to the township Planning Commission by engineer John McMenamin, the company proposes to divide the existing 61,000-square foot lot into three parcels of roughly equal size. One home already exists on the property, and two others are contemplated. Commissioners will consider a resolution to approve a land development plan for the property.
The second portion of the Buchert Road project, which in the past has called for construction of garden-style apartments in a multi-story building, has been delayed by the developer’s focus on completing a community center at the development, as well as consulting with township engineers in plans for the expansion. Commissioners expect to get an update on the project.
Also on the agenda are adoption of the amended 2014 township budget, and publicly advertising meeting dates of the board’s Police Committee.
