POTTSTOWN PA – An interesting side debate arose Tuesday (Feb. 11, 2014) between Pottsgrove School District directors David Faulkner and Rick Rabinowitz over how expenses should be trimmed in the 2014-2015 district budget. The Post thinks it presents a question on which readers may want to weigh in.
Faulkner said board members, not administrators, should determine which specific items to cut from the spending plan. Rabinowitz disagreed, saying the board should determine how much the district should spend or wants to afford, and then let administrators propose what to eliminate.
What do you think? Let us know by answering the survey below. Vote only once, please, The poll will close Thursday morning at 7 a.m.; we’ll report on the results Friday.
