Thursday Evening Incident Required Coroner's PresenceSANATOGA PA – A Montgomery County Coroner’s Office van responded Thursday (Feb. 20, 2014) at about 5 p.m. to an East High Street building in the area between Sanatoga and Park roads, according to passers-by near the scene.

Lower Pottsgrove Police Chief Michael Foltz confirmed an incident had occurred in the vicinity, prompting a call for the presence of police and other first responders. He declined to be more specific until details were released by county authorities.

At one point, according to a witness, the van, a township police car and a third vehicle were at the scene and occupying a portion of the roadway with lights flashing. Police officers were seen on a nearby lawn.
