DAWN AT THE HISTORICAL PARK – Tales of hardship in Valley Forge PA during the Revolutionary War colonial encampment there are legendary. The winter was bitterly cold and snowy, not unlike what their modern-day successors are experiencing with the weather now. Soldiers suffered without adequate food, clothing or shelter, and the Americans’ chances of success at often seemed slim. But there had to be, at times, awe-inspiring moments, too; maybe akin to this one, captured at dawn by a photographer at Valley Forge National Historical Park in King of Prussia and posted Sunday (March 2, 2014) to its Instagram and Twitter accounts for public enjoyment.
