POTTSTOWN PA – Left-over winter snow, only slowly melting away, still covers many area sports’ playing fields. That leaves athletes like those at Pottsgrove High School hoping – in vain, so far – for outdoor practices in balmy weather, according to a story by reporter Rosemarie Ross published Wednesday (March 12, 2014) in The (Pottstown PA) Mercury.
“We’re stumbling,” Ross quoted Pottsgrove Athletic Director Gary DeRenzo. “We moved inside all last week for the most part. It’s hard to run a two-, two-and-a-half-hour practice inside … It’s just frustrating.
