POTTSTOWN PA – Lower Pottsgrove police report a man died, but his accompanying wife was uninjured, after the car he was driving Monday afternoon (March 24, 2014) in the 1400 block of North Keim Street left the highway and crossed several properties. It came to rest against a house that sustained minor damage, according to The (Pottstown PA) Mercury newspaper.
Reporter Frank Otto wrote that the driver, whose name has not yet been released, had been taken in serious condition following the accident to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center and later died there. His wife, a passenger in the car and also not identified, was not hurt.

The accident was reported to have occurred at about 3:45 p.m. as the car was headed south on the street near its intersection with Buchert Road. Police are continuing their investigation.
