SANATOGA PA – What are estimated to be thousands of colorful plastic eggs filled with candies and small toys will litter the fields of Gerald Richards Park on April 12 (2014; Saturday) at 10 a.m. as the Lower Pottsgrove Parks and Recreation Board conducts the township’s annual Easter Egg hunt for children between the ages of 2 and 8.
Participation for township families is free. The day’s special guest and bringer of the eggs, the Easter Bunny, will be on hand to pose for pictures or selfies taken by or of excited adults and others.
Also returning are the popular Bunny Hop sack races, but those are scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
A rain date of April 13 (Sunday) at 2 p.m. is planned as an alternative.
