SANATOGA PA – If you’ve been a procrastinator in filing your state and federal income tax returns (hint: they’re due next Tuesday, April 15), state Rep. Mark Painter says the staff in his office at 600 Heritage Drive, Ste. 102, can still lend you a hand.
Anyone who lives in the 146th Legislative District represented by Painter, and who earns less than $52,000 annually, can receive free tax help preparing and submitting tax forms Individual 1040, 1040 EZ, 1040A, Property Tax/Rent Rebate, PA Income Tax, PACE, and local tax forms.
The district includes Lower, Upper, and West Pottsgrove, New Hanover, and Limerick townships; and Pottstown and Royersford boroughs.
A few appointment openings remain to assist last-minute filers, he said. “We still have some availability for Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday … My office will stay open until 10 p.m. Monday, and even until midnight Tuesday if necessary, to make sure everyone gets the help they need,” Painter added.
To make an appointment, call Painter’s office at 610-326-9563. The office is in Sunnybrook Village, next to Parma Pizza.
