With Test Results, Local Police Set Formal Complaint

With Test Results, Township Police Set Formal ComplaintSANATOGA PA – A criminal complaint against Ronald J. Diesinger Sr., a Limerick Township resident, has been formally filed by Lower Pottsgrove police after laboratory test results indicated the alcohol content of his blood – drawn following an automobile accident and his arrest – allegedly exceeded acceptable limits, the department’s Ofc. Matthew Musselman reported Thursday (April 17, 2014).

The results, received last week, showed Diesinger’s blood alcohol content after a March 20 (2014; Thursday) accident in which he was involved was .121 percent, Musselman wrote.

The accident occurred during the late evening of March 20 near the intersection of East High Street and Sanatoga Road, according to the officer.

At the time, an investigation indicated Diesinger had been drinking, and he allegedly failed field sobriety tests. He was arrested for driving under the influence, and later had his blood drawn at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
