Tell PennDOT About Your Priorities For Its Money

20140423-Latest-TrafficLightsHighwaySANATOGA PA – Where, and how, would you like to see Pennsylvania invest its money on transportation? On Route 422, 100, or East High Street? In building new roads, fixing existing ones, or buying trains and buses? The state Department of Transportation is asking for your comments in creating a long-range transportation plan.

You can offer them online, here.

The planning effort is called “PA On Track,” and PennDOT describes it as “a challenging journey to develop strategies and priorities to guide decision makers now and in the years ahead.” By this summer, it said, it hopes to have produced both the long-range document “to preserve and improve accessibility and connectivity” in all forms of transportation; and its “first-ever comprehensive freight movement plan” target business transportation needs.

PennDOT “is inviting (the public) to share (its) feedback on transportation priorities and investments” through May 30.
