Township Plans Sole June Meeting; Then, Bye-Bye!

20140528-GoneFishingSign-GoogleImagesSANATOGA PA – It’s summertime, when the living is easy and public officials look forward to a little time off from the burden of governance.

The Lower Pottsgrove Board of Commissioners is no different.

Commissioners have canceled their previously scheduled meetings for June 2 (2014; Monday) and June 19 (Thursday), Manager Ed Wagner announced in a published advertisement. Instead, the board will hold a single, consolidated meeting June 5 (Thursday) beginning at 7 p.m. in the municipal building, 2199 Buchert Rd.

Attendance at the meeting is free and open to the public.

If it’s official business that must be handled by the board during June, its sole meeting will be the forum to get it done. Otherwise, anything pending likely will be delayed until July, Wagner indicated.
