TASTES AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS … MAYBE BETTER! – The Lower Pottsgrove Historical Society has scheduled its annual Strawberry Festival for June 14 (Saturday) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. rain or shine on the grounds of its Sanatoga Chapel headquarters, 2341 E. High St., Sanatoga. Society representative Glenn Isett says the day will be filled with “festivities, good food, the music of the O’Such Rhythm and Music Band” and, of course, dozens of quarts of fresh-picked, ripe and luscious strawberries. A basket raffle will be conducted, and plants, flowers and baked goods also will be offered for sale. The chapel museum also will be open, with “slide shows on tap for your viewing pleasure” Isett added.
