SANATOGA PA – Two male Pottstown residents were arrested on drug-related charges during separate and unrelated incidents Sunday (Aug. 24, 2014) and Wednesday (Aug. 20), Lower Pottsgrove police have reported.
On Sunday at 3:24 p.m., according to a report from Ofc. James McCue, police were at the Days Inn, 1600 Industrial Hwy., to investigate what they deemed as a “suspicious vehicle” when they identified Jeffrey Weinreich, 22, of Pottstown. During the course of the investigation, police alleged they found narcotics and drug paraphernalia in Weinreich’s possession.
Weinreich was taken into custody, charged, and later housed at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Eagleville PA.
On Wednesday at 1:43 a.m., McCue also reported the investigation of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Cutillo’s Restaurant, 2688 E. High St. While there they identified Gabriel Weaver, 23, of Pottstown, and allegedly found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his possession. Weaver was taken into custody, charged, and housed at the correctional facility.
