SANATOGA PA – You know it’s summer when the circus comes back to town.
The South Carolina-based Lewis and Clark Circus, which has appeared regularly in Sanatoga over several years, will be the return guest of the Sanatoga Fire Company for twice-daily big-top shows next Tuesday and Wednesday (June 9 and 10, 2015), accompanied by rides, concessionaires, and other entertainment. The fire company is sponsoring its performances as a fund-raiser.
Shows will be offered each night at 5 and 7:30 on the lot behind the firehouse, 2222 E. High St. Children age 14 and younger will be admitted free when accompanied by a ticket-purchasing adult, but children must have a ticket coupon. Print them from the circus website, here.
Adult tickets cost $12 in advance and can be bought at the firehouse, or online here. The same tickets purchased on show days will cost $15 for adults, and $5 for children.
Lewis And Clark calls its performances “an exciting and fun-filled circus extravaganza.” The show is “a one-ring European-style circus featuring continuous action in the center ring. Families who attend can expect to see high-flying trapeze artists, high wire artists, amazing acrobats, juggling, clowns, plus much more.”
