SANATOGA PA – Performances of the Lewis and Clark Circus, on the grounds of the Sanatoga Fire Company at 2222 E. High St., are expected to be held tonight (Wednesday, June 10, 2015) at 5 and 7:30 p.m. as scheduled, a circus employee said, despite cancellation of two similar shows that were to have been held Tuesday (June 9).
Ticket-holding patrons had to be turned away from Tuesday’s shows because of weather-related problems, according to the employee, who declined to give his name. He said a steady wind during the day caused problems in erecting the circus’ big-top tent until early Tuesday evening. Other parts of the structure, like bleachers and the performance ring, had not yet been installed by 7:15 p.m.
Tickets for Tuesday’s performances will be honored at the circus tonight, the employee added. Ticket-holders seeking refunds for Tuesday’s missed performances only were advised by the employee to send a message to the circus via e-mail using its website, here.
