The township’s sewer pumping station on South Sanatoga Road, above, is one of several facilities operated by the authority.
SANATOGA PA – Business apparently was good last year for the Lower Pottsgrove Township Authority, the municipal agency that operates the township public sewer system.
The authority recently advertised the availability of its 2014 audit, which indicates its “change in net position” during the 12-month period of Jan. 1-Dec. 31 was $645,736. It showed that after all revenues and expenses were accounted for, it had that much more cash on hand at the end of the year than it did at the start.
The authority’s net position at year-end, according to the audit notice, was $1,925,473, and at year-start, $1,279,737.
Below find the authority’s audited operating statement as published.
- The audit may be mentioned in passing tonight as part of the township Board of Commissioner’s meeting, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the municipal building, 2199 Buchert Rd. The meeting is free and open to the public.
