Eat, So Pottsgrove’s Band Can Travel

POTTSTOWN PA – The Pottsgrove High School Marching Band wants to sell you a chicken. Actually, it wants to sell you as many chickens as possible.

The sales of well-cooked half-chickens with tasty accompaniments like a baked potato, coleslaw and a roll are being offered at $9 per serving during the band’s Aug. 15 annual chicken dinner, from 2-5 p.m. at Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School on Buchert Road. It’s a fund-raiser to help pay for the band members’ coming road trip performance.

Although a limited number of tickets will be available on the day of the sale, most will be sold in advance. Contact any band member to get yours, or call 215-200-1600 for purchasing information.
