Under-Wraps Police Exercise In Limerick

THIS IS THE ONLY PHOTO YOU’LL SEE OF WHAT HAPPENED WEDNESDAY – … With good reason. Command staff members of the Limerick Police Department reported they participated Wednesday night (Aug. 19, 2015) in what was described as a “hostile action drill at the Limerick Generating Station,” 3146 Sanatoga Road. The exercise prepares them for unforeseen or unanticipated actors who might want to damage or disrupt station operations and, by extension, affect the public. It was confined within the plant grounds, and involved a security force and a mock adversary “using blank firing weapons and performing physical activities throughout the station,” according to the department’s Facebook status update item. No photos of the actual exercise were allowed, for the obvious security reasons.
