POTTSTOWN PA – A Pottsgrove Board of School Directors’ executive session that reportedly covered potential litigation was held Thursday night (Aug. 20, 2015), but apparently no official actions were taken during or after the gathering.
Board Vice-President David Faulkner, who chaired the directors’ Friday (Aug. 21) special meeting regarding high school construction overtime, began it by announcing the executive session had been held on the preceding evening.
Board discussions of some legal and personnel matters are allowed by state law in closed-door meetings, not attended by the public, under certain circumstances. Official action on any topic must be made only in public meetings.
