Companies Respond Monday To Linfield Fire

linfield pa: Companies Respond To Linfield Industrial Fire

LINFIELD PA – Fire-fighting and fire police units from Sanatoga and Ringing Hill companies were called out Monday night at about 8 to assist the Linfield Fire Company (at top) in dealing with a heavily involved building fire (above) that billowed thick and occasionally acrid smoke at the Linfield Industrial Park near Longview Road and Main Street.

The industrial park has been the scene over many years of fires attributed to trespassers. No cause of Monday’s fire has so far been announced. The property is the site of a former distillery.

Also responding to Linfield’s call were fire companies from Limerick, Royersford, Spring City, Perkiomen, North Coventry and Skippack, and emergency medical services from Trappe. No injuries were immediately reported. Television news helicopters circled overhead for a brief time.
