POTTSTOWN PA – Discussion of a current Pottsgrove School District requirement that volunteers submit results of a tuberculosis test no more than 12 months old, in addition to other documentation demanded under state Child Protective Services laws, is scheduled to be part of the school board’s workshop meeting scheduled for tonight (Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015).
A review of that policy will be part of the report of Superintendent Shellie Feola, according to the agenda for the meeting set to begin at 7:30 p.m. in the district office on Kauffman Road. The meeting is free to attend and open to the public. A copy of its agenda has been available online since last Thursday (Aug. 20), and can be downloaded here.
Also on the agenda are:
- A curriculum committee discussion of preliminary Pennsylvania System of School Assessment and Keystone Exam data now available, and the possible formation of an “action plan” to address perceived needs; and
- Facilities committee discussions of renovation progress at Pottsgrove High School, the cleaning of mold in the gymnasium roof at Ringing Rocks Elementary School, and requests for use of district facilities.
The superintendent’s report also includes requests for board approval of several personnel items.
