DEMANDING TWO ALARMS – Authorities on the scene of a house fire (above at left) Wednesday night (Sept. 16, 2015), which Montgomery County dispatchers said began shortly after 8 p.m. on the 1400 block of Farmington Avenue in Upper Pottsgrove Township (top), called for additional firefighter assistance in combating the blaze. No cause for the two-alarm fire was immediately available. Several sources later reported no one in the home was injured. Video from Facebook that was posted to the website of Philadelphia television station NBC-10 showed flames soaring from the roof of the two-story structure near Farmington’s intersection with North State Street. Ringing Hill Fire Company and its ladder truck, Tower 59 (bottom), was among those responding in mutual aid.
