Pottsgrove High Celebrates Spirit Week Ahead

POTTSTOWN PA – Students and faculty members at Pottsgrove High School look forward next week to its annual Spirit Week observance, in anticipation of Friday night’s (Oct. 16, 2015) varsity football game against Methacton at 7 in the stadium on School Lane. District Director of Athletics and Activities Gary DeRenzo notes that:

  • Monday (Oct. 12) is a full day of school for students, during which they can wear a college T-shirt or sweatshirt;
  • Tuesday (Oct. 13) is Dress-Up Day;
  • Wednesday (Oct. 14) is “Twin Day;”
  • Thursday (Oct. 15) Spirit Week is “Maroon and White Day,” with the homecoming bonfire scheduled for 6 p.m. in the high school parking lot; and
  • Friday (Oct. 16) is “Make Your Own Homecoming Shirt Day.” A high school pep rally is planned for 1:40 p.m. in the gymnasium at the Kauffman Road building; the homecoming queen will be crowned at 6 p.m in the high school auditorium; followed by the game at 7 p.m.

The homecoming dance is scheduled for Saturday (Oct. 17) in the high school cafeteria from 7-9 p.m.
