Pottsgrove Congratulates Soprano Performer

APPLAUSE! APPLAUSE! – Family, friends and Pottsgrove School District residents offered loud applause Tuesday night (Oct. 13, 2015) during the Board of School Directors’ meeting to high school junior Diane DiLabio (above at right), for being chosen as one of only 33 students from across Pennsylvania to sing with the All-National Honor Music Ensemble Mixed Choir later this month in Nashville TN. Soprano performer DiLabio received a certificate of recognition from district Superintendent Shellie Feola, left, and congratulations from high school Principal Dr. Bill Ziegler and Athletics and Activities Director Gary DeRenzo. The performances, sponsored by the National Association for Music Education, will be held Oct. 25-28 (2015; Sunday through Wednesday) at the at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Conference Center, as well as the Grand Ole Opry House. Feola, the winning singer and her family later posed for a group photo (below) taken by Ziegler.
