Halloween Arrives, With Long-Distance Visitors

POTTSTOWN PA – Forget the treat of a luxuriously perfect candy bar, or the awesome fit of a just-right costume. Possibly the happiest Halloween surprises received during the weekend at the Hunters Run Lane, Lower Pottsgrove, home of the William and Arlene Bianco family were visitors from Argentina.

Jeremias “Jere” Olmedo Guerra, during the 2001-2002 academic year, was a Rotary International exchange student in the Pottsgrove School District and lived with the Biancos. He returned there Friday night (Oct. 27, 2015) while on a trip to the U.S. with a companion, and stayed until Sunday morning (Nov. 1). They drove to Pottstown from New York City, the family reported.

Jere, who graduated with the Pottsgrove senior class of 2002, spent his time locally catching up on 13 years of news and developments with the family and friends.
