Upper Darby Woman Faces Marijuana Charges

SANATOGA PA – An Upper Darby woman was arrested Thursday night (Nov. 5, 2015) at about 10:45 p.m. on North Keim Street on charges of possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia, Lower Pottsgrove police reported. She also was observed committing traffic violations, Ofc. Kevin Black added in a department press release.

Taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Eagleville PA was Gianni Stone, 19.

Black was on patrol in the area of Buchert and Kepler roads when he alleged he saw a red Infiniti-brand coupe traveling westbound on Buchert with its driver-side wheels on the highway’s double-yellow lines. As the vehicle continued, he said, it allegedly drifted over and rode on the lines on several occasions, and also was observed committing a traffic violation at the corner of Buchert and North Keim before turning south on Keim.

The car was stopped by Black at North Keim and Kenny roads, where the officer identified the driver as Stone and also alleged he found about 9 grams of marijuana and the paraphernalia inside.

She will face a later preliminary hearing in the Sanatoga courtroom of Magisterial District Justice Edward Kropp Sr.
