Students Explore Career Options In Open House

LIMERICK PA – Pottsgrove High School students interested in attending the Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center during the 2016-2017 academic year, and their parents, can attend an open house preview intended exclusively for them Thursday (Dec. 3, 2015) from 5-6 p.m. at the center, 77 Graterford Rd., Pottsgrove High Principal Dr. Bill Ziegler said.

For all other students at Pottsgrove High, and those also in eighth grade at Pottsgrove Middle School, the open house continues from 6-8:30 p.m. Ziegler called it “an excellent opportunity to learn about programming at Western Center and to explore the various career preparation opportunities (it) provides.

Additionally, Pottsgrove ninth graders are scheduled to tour the center on Dec. 16 and 18 (Wednesday and Friday).

The center’s goal is to prepare students for direct entry into the work force, as well as to be enrolled in two- and four-year college studies. It hopes to promote “lifelong productivity in a challenging and changing world, by forming innovative partnerships among family, school and community.”
