POTTSTOWN PA – Sixteen seconds may be all it takes to help your young child learn faster, according to a national company that operates a day care center in Lower Pottsgrove.
A series of videos called “Speed Play,” each only 16 seconds long, give parents quick ideas about how to simultaneously entertain and educate their youngsters. They’re being regularly posted to YouTube on behalf of KinderCare Learning Centers, which include its facility at 1550 Industrial Hwy. in the township.
The latest (above), uploaded Wednesday (Dec. 9, 2015), demonstrates how to reinforce a child’s understanding of the alphabet. Two others (below), posted Dec. 3 (Thursday) and Dec. 2 (Wednesday) respectively, show how to make hand-made owl puppets, and to colorfully paint seashells.
