Five Escaped Injury When Their Car Flips

POTTSTOWN PA – Five occupants of a late-model, four-door gray sedan all escaped injury Friday night (Dec. 11, 2015) at about 7:40 when the driver of the car in which they were riding appeared to have lost control while traveling west on Linfield Road. It hit a berm near the road’s shoulder and rolled over, Lower Pottsgrove police reported at the scene.

The driver was in his late teens, and his passengers all ranged in younger ages, police said. Each one of them was strapped into a seatbelt, officers noted. Relieved parents personally came to pick them up, first responders said.

The names of those involved in the one-car accident, which occurred near the intersection of Linfield and South Sanatoga roads, were not available for immediate release. There was no indication if any citations or charges were pending.

Lower Pottsgrove police, assisted by Limerick police; the Sanatoga Fire Company and fire police, and Goodwill Ambulance all responded to the scene.
