Police Arrest On Pot, Paraphernalia Charges

SANATOGA PA – Justin K. Gosha, 20, a resident of Walnut Ridge Estates, was charged early Monday morning (Dec. 14, 2015) with possession of a small quantity of marijuana, and for drug paraphernalia, after both were allegedly found in a car he occupied, Lower Pottsgrove police reported in a press release.

Ofc. Scott Burnick said he was on patrol at 1:39 a.m. when he spotted what was deemed to be a suspicious occupied Volkswagen hatchback at the intersection of Glen Eagles Drive and Brooke Road in the township. The car carried expired inspection and expired registration stickers, Burnick reported.

The officer made contact with the occupant inside, later determined to be Gosha, and said he discovered Gosha also carried a suspended driver’s license. Burnick alleged he “detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, and observed drug paraphernalia in plain view.” The marijuana itself was found by Burnick after Gosha consented to a search of his vehicle, the officer claimed.

Gosha was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Eagleville PA.
